The pianist Hansjürg Kuhn completed his musical studies at the conservatory of Berne (piano and choral direction), the Vienna Academy of Music (chamber music and accompaniment (under the tutelage of Erik Werba et al.) and in Geneva under Harry Datyner.
He can be heard on radio and CD recordings, primarily in his role as a chamber musician and accompanist. He is also known by the audiences of Berne as the artistic director of the Liederstunden-Zyklus at the Amthaus. In addition to his concert activities, Hansjürg Kuhn was a music teacher at the teacher training seminar and college of Lebermatt and visiting lecturer at the University of Berne.
